PARIS FASHION WEEK: MYHIGHLIGHTSSOFAR

I would rather keep track on Paris Fashion Week over London Fashion Week; is that bad?
I personally think LFW has turned into some kind of theatre production, which designer can collaborate with the most innovative set designer to show off basically. PFW is still all about traditional style and fashion trends, which is what catwalk shows and fashion weeks should still be based on, a celebration of style.

HAIDER ACKERMANN AW12

HA did this very well in my opinion. The sheen of the lustrous fabrics caught the glint of light and shimmered the catwalk (who needs gold sparkling rain?!). The tailoring mixed with the lustrous fabrics is what I thought was interesting, different yet it works. HA have created a catwalk collection that can easily be transformed into ready-to-wear.

Marmalade, Raspberry, Chocolate. Sounds like something you can eat, yet this was the colour pallette of Ackermann's AW12 desires. Beautfiul. The whole collection truly resembles a woman of strength, power and the upper hand.

Definately a trend that will out number others: Power and Dominance.
