There's so much choice on the high street for velvet lovers! These four picks i've seen in stores and they look even more lustrous than they do on screen. Backpacks are everywhere right now and are tipped to be the next big thing for SS12, as part of the 'SPORT' trend, i'm not sure ill be hoping onto the backpack wagon though. The maxi skirt is rather eye catching, would be hard to style thought, i'm thinking a jersey crop tee and a sheer chiffon kimono with some heeled lace up boots, mermaid goth! (it looks good in my head, trust me)

VELVET WINTER:

I'm not so sure on the pairing of denim and velvet, however I thought this little treasure of a skirt deserves a post, (and a very belated one at that!). I found it at a swap shop I went to a couple of months ago and after contemplating whether to chuck it onto eBay, I spotted a very similar one in the winter trends of Topshop, so here it is and i'm deciding on cute little outfits for a night out, Rock City: pair it with some ankle boots, a black bra top, a leather jacket and plenty of silver jewels and its all go!
